The Epionce Range of Peels
Epionce created two peels, both are excellent supplements to enhance your at-home skin care results. In addition to an Epionce at-home regime, a peel series can help you achieve better clearing of acne and hyperpigmentation, reduce fine lines and soften wrinkles.
Willow Bark Extract
Malic Acid enhances skin hydration, reduces surface bacteria and promotes cell turnover.
Salicylic Acid contains anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial properties, and is lipophilic to deeply penetrate skin to clear out pores and control oil production.
Willow Bark Extract is a key Epionce botanical with both comedolytic and anti-inflammatory properties to clean out pores without irritating skin.
Onion Extract is anti-inflammatory to help calm and soothe skin, plus helps stimulate collagen formation.
Which Peel Option Is Best for You?
The Epionce line of peels available at Ultra Sculpt Beauty Clinic Leeds can be tailored to your skin care needs. Below are a few different skin concerns Epionce peels can help treat.
For experienced peel clients.
An Epionce peel will target oil and encourage cell turnover.
Help reduce signs of ageing like fine lines and wrinkles, tighten and brighten skin. Incorporate Microdermabrasion to help remove superficial skin cells and allow the peel to penetrate deeper into the skin for better results.
Clear, bright, smooth skin/sensitive skin types:
For clients new to peels, teens or those who just want a quick refresh, Lite Peel: Refresh will help skin look brighter, smoother and less congested.
For optimum post-care results, take home the Epionce Skin Barrier Repair Kit or Essential Recovery Kit. The all-in-one kits will provide gentle products to last approximately 72 hours after a peel. The gentle regime soothes skin and promotes faster healing and better treatment results without irritation.
Why do we add light therapy after all our lite refresh peels at Ultra Sculpt?
LED Light Therapy is the perfect partner to the Epionce Lite Refresh Peel.
Once the peel has removed the external skin barrier, this is then allowing the LED Light to penetrate further into the skin. Post skin peel our skin is able to absorb an amazing 90-95% of nutrients and products applied to the skin surface (prior to treatment only 3%) making LED Light Therapy an absolute indulgence for the skin, helping to further boost collagen, clear blackheads, relieve skin of stress and many more.
How will a peel lighten my hyperpigmentation?
The Sal-e part of the peel works similarly to Retin-A, but with much less irritation to promote cell turnover. The Mal-e part of the peel also enhances cell turnover and is known to work well on hyperpigmentation. It is also better for sensitive skin types who may not be able to tolerate other hyperpigmentation peels. Because of the exfoliation, you will need to wear sunscreen such as Ultra Shield Lotion SPF 50 found in the Skin Barrier Repair Kit. Using the MelanoLyte Skin Brightening System along with the peel series will enhance skin lightening results even more.
Will my skin peel?
You may experience some flaking and peeling in the days after the peel, but down time is very minimal–especially if using Epionce products at home. Depending on the type of peel or number of peel layers performed that day, you should be able to wear sunscreen and mineral makeup the same day or immediately afterwards. Your skin will look its best about one to two weeks after the peel.
I have highly sensitive skin and I cannot tolerate even one layer of the Epionce Peel
System. But I really feel like my skin needs something more than just home care products.
Do you have an alternative to the medical peel?
The Epionce Lite Peel: Refresh is typically well tolerated by very sensitive skin types who just cannot take the medical-strength Epionce Peel System. We will start you off with a series of 3-6 peels, each spaced 2 weeks apart, and gradually build the time the peel is left on the skin. You will have no to very minimal reaction and your skin will see the benefit of regular, gentle cell turnover.
When I’ve had peels in the past, I’ve noticed stinging and discomfort when I use skin care products. What do I do?
Your Epionce Professional at Ultra Sculpt Leeds will send you home with an Epionce Skin Barrier Repair Kit to use for 72 hours after your peel. The kit includes products for very sensitive skin, which are Milky Lotion Cleanser and Medical Barrier Cream. You can cleanse twice a day and use Medical Barrier Cream when needed to hydrate and help repair the barrier. When your skin can tolerate it, apply Ultra Shield Lotion SPF 50 to protect sensitive skin from the sun. You should hold off on applying Lytic products, or any prescription topical products like tretinoin, until skin has healed.
Epionce Corrective Peel
Made up of 2 parts, sal-e and mal-e. Salicylic acid and malic acid accelerate cell turnover with less exfoliation than other peels, to reveal more beautiful and radiant skin. Sal-e penetrates and clears out pores. It has anti-bacterial properties to improve skin texture and clarity. Mal-e enhances skins hydration, brightening and encourages anti-age effects.
